Ground Hog watching by organized set up café nearby with open air seating, interactive environment with nature on 2 February.

• Contest

Ground Hog Treasure Hunt- a find-and-assemble winter/spring nuts and a contest promoting sustainable innovation- make something out of those cashews, nuts like (literally) a groundhog. As they are out in nature, they will get to witness these groundhogs.

Ideally a marathon, canoeing or cooking competition would’ve been fine but given the nature of the Ground Hog Day which tells whether winter is going to continue or spring shall arrive sooner, it’d be impractical for racing in the cold, compared to treasure hunt, innovate and strategize.

1. Contest winner gets a surprise challenge to reenact a Groundhog from their Treasure Hunt outdoor experiences and even get to don a costume. It would be highly televised or planned leak on social media. 

2. A celebrity (with the least unusual profile, like with whom you wouldn’t expect- e.g. opposite of the personality of recent Kanye West tweets) decides to adopt a Groundhog as a pet. 

• Personal appearances-

1. Celebrity environment activist and/or actor like Leonardo di Caprio makes a guest appearance as a participant himself in (b.) mentioned Ground Hog Treasure Hunt.
