NEW YORK- The hustle culture of New York City is more than rooted in 99 cent pizzas, fast food chains and grab-and-go coffees. With an increasingly diverse America, the heart and lifeline of the city- its people struggle to find a healthy balance (literally) as they settle for quick grabs of fast, deep-fried, oily food lacking vegan diversity.
“However, Shake Shack is redefining what fast food is” shares Kristyn Clark, Director of Brand and Communications with Bon Appetit ahead of Shake Shack’s Summer 2022 health-pro meal launch- Launching their vegan chicken sandwich, vegan fries and vegan milkshake.
1. The Vegan Patty
The chicken sandwich patty is made of pea-protein mixed with soy, rice flour, carrot fiber, yeast extract, vegetable oil, salt, onion and garlic powder. The rest of the burger includes a vegan bread bun and fresh lettuce and tomato. As a whole it is just 680 calories.
2. Fully Vegan Sauce
What makes our signature vegan meal a bonus for vegan preference hearts out there, is our cheese sauce which is made from cashew-based mixture.

Starting The Summer Spirit With A Healthy & Fun Twist
New York, NY, May 1- Shake Shack is launching its vegan burger, fries and shake next month for the urban, health-conscious and hustling adolescents and young adults who want a quick yet healthy bite in their tight routines.
Starting with the Summer spirit, Shake Shack is hosting its Shake It At The Shack With Shake Shack Party on June 10 at 7pm, inviting celebrity guests from the food and lifestyle industry. The brand-integrated party promotes its product launch of vegan chicken sandwich, cheese fries and shake by sponsoring the test launch at the party. It will also include interactive family-friendly board games such as snake and ladder.
“Shake Shack is expanding the dimensions of fast food by altogether breaking down the meaning of “fast”. Fast food can also mean quick, convenient, easy food can also mean healthy options,” says Jay Livingston, CMO of Shake Shack.
And Shake Shack is hosting a Shake It At The Shack With Shake Shack Party on Friday June 10, 2022 to celebrate its June 8 healthy fast food launch, particularly the vegan line. The party would have fun and interactive games from Snake and Ladder, Bean Bag Toss. There would be also be wild games in another arena of the outlet like Shake Pong, inspired by beer pong to promote the non-alcoholic milkshake beverage of Shake Shack’s new meal launch, adds Livingston.
Steph Totoritis, Social Media Manager adds, “Seeing their social media with pictures of food from celebrities' stories will gather all the foodie followers to visit the hyped up Shake Shack.” What’s more, the visitors may be surprised by celebrity guests with the party inviting influencers and bloggers from the food and lifestyle industry. Shake Shack is inviting the likes of Food God, Food Network Judge and New York Times dessert specialist Dorie Greenspan, influencers Emily Mariko, to urban youth drama celebrities like Zac Efron who endorses vegan, Madelaine Pelsch to food stylists like Caitlyn Greene to their exclusive summer party.
